Guide to Domain Name standing Codes ?




ACTIVE: The registry sets this standing. The domain may be changed by the registrar. The domain may be renewed. The domain are included within the zone if the domain has been delegated to a minimum of one name server.


REGISTRY-LOCK: The registry sets this standing. The domain cannot be changed or deleted by the registrar. The registry should take away the REGISTRY-LOCK standing for the registrar to change the domain. The domain may be renewed. The domain are included within the zone if the domain has been delegated to a minimum of one name server.


REGISTRAR-LOCK: The sponsoring registrar sets this standing. The domain cannot be changed or deleted. The registrar should take away REGISTRAR-LOCK standing to change the domain. The domain may be renewed. The domain are included within the zone.


REGISTRY-HOLD: The registry sets this standing. The domain cannot be changed or deleted by the registrar. The registry should take away the REGISTRY-HOLD standing for the registrar to change the domain. The domain may be renewed. The domain won't be included within the zone.


REGISTRAR-HOLD: The sponsoring registrar sets this standing. The domain cannot be changed or deleted. The registrar should take away REGISTRAR-HOLD standing to change the domain. The domain may be renewed. The domain won't be included within the zone.


REDEMPTIONPERIOD: The registry sets this standing when a registrar requests that the domain name be deleted from the registry and therefore the domain has been registered for over five calendar days (if the delete request is received at intervals five days of initial domain registration it'll instead be deleted immediately). The domain won't be included within the zone. The domain cannot be changed or purged; it will solely be restored. the other registrar requests to change or otherwise update the domain are rejected. The domain are held during this standing for a most of thirty calendar days.


PENDINGRESTORE: The registry sets this standing once a registrar requests restoration of a site that's in REDEMPTIONPERIOD standing. The domain are included within the zone. Registrar requests to change or otherwise update the domain are rejected. The domain are held during this standing whereas the registry waits for the registrar to produce needed restoration documentation. If the registrar fails to produce documentation to the registry at intervals seven calendar days to verify the restoration request, the domain can revert to REDEMPTIONPERIOD standing. The domain standing are set to ACTIVE on condition that the registrar provides documentation to the registry at intervals seven calendar days to verify the restoration request.


PENDINGDELETE: The registry sets this standing once a site has been set in REDEMPTIONPERIOD standing and therefore the domain has not been restored by the registrar. The domain won't be included within the zone. Once during this standing all registrar requests to change or otherwise update the domain are rejected. The domain are purged from the registry database once being during this standing for five calendar days.
